WHO IS DUCK TAYLOR?

My name is Rob Henderson.

I'm a graphic designer that grew up in the lovely city of Indianapolis, IN. While the entire world was gripped with fear during the pandemic in 2020, I was also plagued by an unknown. Isolated in my castle of canned beans and hoarded toilet paper, I spent every waking hour feverishly pondering the answer to one question… can you put shoes on a duck? I grabbed my pencil and soon, I had a duck in fashionable retro sneakers. I quickly realized that waterfowl were not the only critters that could wear clothes and armed with this knowledge, Duck Taylor Art & Design was born.

All of that to say, Duck Taylor was created out of a weird mix of a graphic designer's love for animals and the boredom of a global pandemic.

IMPORTANT CAUSES

10% of the proceeds from all online sales through Threadless, plus an additional donation from Threadless, is donated to Oceana, a nonprofit organization that protects and restores the world’s oceans on a global scale with wins policy campaigns in the countries that govern much of the world's marine life.

An additional 10% of the proceeds from all online sales through Threadless, plus an additional donation from Threadless, is donated to Defenders of Wildlife, a nonprofit organization that works on the ground protecting and restoring endangered species and their habitats, and advocating for imperiled wildlife on Capitol Hill and in the courts.
